CINAHL--CINAHL and PRE-CINAHL - Provides indexes and abstracts for over 1,700 Nursing and Allied Health journals dating back to 1982.

Academic OneFile - The premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive.

Health and Wellness Resource Center - >Citations and full text articles on fitness, pregnancy, medicine, nutrition, diseases, public health, occupational health & safety, alcohol and drug abuse, HMOs, prescription drugs, etc.

Health Reference Center Academic - full-text articles from over 600 journals in medicine, health, nursing, and allied health. It also contains indexing from more than 700 additional journals in these fields as well as full-text content of over 400 pamphlets.

Nursing and Allied Health - full text for nearly 400 journals covering the areas of nursing, biomedicine, health sciences, consumer health and allied health disciplines.

Journals and Magazines 
The following journals are available at the Pellissippi library in the Reference area. Many journals now have websites, providing the table of contents and access to selected articles in the current printed journal. Many include additional information and resources in certain subjects.

 Merck Manual of Diagnosis and Therapy (http://www.merck.com/mrkshared/mmanual/home.jsp) - A general medical textbook available full-text on the Web.

MedlinePlus (http://medlineplus.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/) - Designed for consumers, but also helpful for students and medical professionals. Provided by the National Library of Medicine, so information is authoritative and up to date. Includes information on over 650 diseases and conditions as well as an encyclopedia, dictionary, drug information, and clinical trials.

National Library of Medicine  (http://www.nlm.nih.gov)- The world's largest medical library, it collects materials in all areas of biomedicine and health care.

MedWeb (http://www.medweb.emory.edu/MedWeb/) A virtual medical library maintained by Emory University.

Human Anatomy -NLM Anatomy (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/anatomy.html) - Information on human anatomy and all of the systems of the body.
