Wilson OmniFile Full Text, Mega Edition (online) contains full text articles from 1,650 publications from 12 Wilson databases including: Applied Science & Technology Full Text.

Journals and Magazines 
The following journals are available at the Pellissippi library in the Reference area. Many journals now have websites, providing the table of contents and access to selected articles in the current printed journal. Many include additional information and resources in certain subjects.



Reference Books 

A Dictionary of Computing (Oxford Reference Online) This bestselling dictionary is the most up-to-date dictionary of computing available. It provides comprehensive coverage of computer applications in industry, the office, science, education, and the home, and is an ideal reference book for students, teachers, professionals, and all computer users. A Dictionary of the Internet (Oxford Reference Online) This dictionary provides thousands of terms related to the Web, software technology, jargon, e-commerce, security, and the technical and organizational infrastructure of the Internet. There are also useful links to relevant websites. Because of the fast-moving nature of the Internet, the entries will be regularly updated and supplemented.

 Encyclopedia of Information Science and Technology (netLibrary eBook). & in Library Reference Collection [Ref.] Z1006 .E566 2005. Mehdi Khosrow-Pour. A 5 volume, comprehensive, research-based encyclopedia consisting of contributions from over 900 noted researchers in over 50 countries. This five-volume encyclopedia includes more than 550 articles highlighting current concepts, issues and emerging technologies. These articles are enhanced by special attention that is paid to over 4,500 technical and managerial terms.

The Internet Encyclopedia. Hossein Bidgoli, ed. Wiley, c2004. REF TK5105.875.I57 I5466 2004. Three-volume Internet Encyclopedia covers every aspect of the Internet for professionals. This up-to-date compendium offers a broad perspective on the Internet as a business tool, an IT platform, and a medium for communications and commerce. It presents leading-edge theory and recent developments.

Encyclopedia of Wireless Telecommunications.  Francis Botto, New York: McGraw Hill, c2002.REF TK5103.2B68 2002. Contains articles on wireless technology.  A comprehensive and easy to understand resource.

Web Resources 

TIA EIA Standards  TIA is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) to develop voluntary industry standards for a wide variety of telecommunications products ( Fiber Optics, User Premises Equipment, Wireless Communications, Communications Research and Satellite Communications) .
