PsycFIRST  - (OCLC)- Psychology First contains abstracts from psychology and related publications for the current and most recent three years.

Dictionary of Psychology. Andrew M. Colman. New York: Oxford University Press, 2001. REF BF 31 .C65 2001.  Contains cross-referenced definitions of terms found in books and articles on psychology.

The Corsini Encyclopedia of Psychology and Behavioral Science. W. Edward Craighead and Charles B. Nemeroff. 3rd ed.  New York: John Wiley & Sons, 2001. REF BF 31 .E52 2001. This four volume work provides good coverage on the different fields of psychology, theories, terminology, and biographies of psychologists. Many entries contain a list of references for further study.

Encyclopedia of Psychology.  Alan E. Kazdin, ed.  Washington, D.C.: American Psychological Association, 2000.  REF BF 31 .E522 2000 This eight volume work is a very comprehensive source for information about theories, terminology, testing, and other psychology topics.  It includes biographies of psychologists and many entries contain a list of references for further study.

The Fifteenth Mental Measurements  Yearbook.  Barbara S. Plake, James C. Impara, and Robert A. Spies, editors.  Lincoln: Buros Institute of Mental Measurements, 2003.  REF Z 5814 .P8 B932 2005. Contains critical reviews of commercially available tests.  Includes areas of personality, neuropsychology, achievement, education, science, sensory-motor, etc.

The Gale Encyclopeida of Mental Disorders.  2 vols. Ellen Thackery and Madeline Harris, editors. Detroit: Gale, 2003.  REF RC 437 .G35 2003.  "This collection of approximately 400 entries provides in-depth coverage of specific disorders recognized by the American Psychiatric Association..." (from the introduction).

The Oxford Companion to the Mind. Richard L Gregory, ed. Oxford: Oxford University y Press, 1987. REF BF 31 O94 1987. Entries range from short overview to longer essays in the areas of philosophy, psychology, and the physiology of the brain.
