AP Multimedia Archive - contains over 750,000 photos from the Associated Press' photo library and a wide selection of images dating from the 1840s. (Best viewed with Internet Explorer)

General Business File International - indexes more than 2000 periodicals on a variety of topics from 1980 to the current year with full-text coverage of over 1000 publications.

Safari Tech Books Online - Online access to more than 130 recently published information technology books.

* You may access online databases from off-campus computers by entering your general computer account username and password (used for PSTCC e-mail). NOTE: Enter your username in this format example: s_jmdoe. It is not necessary to add "@pstcc.edu" for this application.
Journals and Magazines

Computer Graphics Dictionary. edited by Roger T. Stevens. Hingham, MA.: Charles River Media, Inc., 2002. REF T385 .S772 2002. Contains over 4,000 definitions and illustrations of computer graphics topics including animation, artificial intelligence, game programming, networking, digital photography, etc.

The GATF encyclopedia of graphic communications.  Pittsburgh: GATF Press, 1998.REF Z118 .G29 1998.  Contains history, terms, and detailed time line for the graphic communications field.

Typography: An encyclopedic survey of type design and techniques throughout history. New York:  Black Dog & Leventhal, 1998.REF Z 250 .A2 F76 1998.  Gives the origin and history of letters and explanations for their current forms.
